'Ghosts' regularly running in front of cars have made a spooky Welsh road the most haunted in Britain.
FRIGHTENED motorists are being terrorised by "ghosts" on a spooky stretch of road thought to be the most haunted in Britain.
Terrified drivers claim to have seen a ghostly figure running in front of their cars on the creepy country lane.
Paranormal investigators say the A4076 in West Wales is haunted by ghostly human forms.
Luke Mayhew had to brake to avoid the phantom as he was driving home on the road known locally as "Clay Lane".
He said: "I'm 100 per cent certain I saw a ghost while driving home.
"I saw it run right in front of me from one side of the road to another.
"I had to slam on my brakes.
"I have never seen anything until last night. It was as clear as day!"
Luke was driving to his home in Milford Haven when he spotted the ghost earlier this month.
Other drivers claim to have seen the "human shape with long arms and legs" near the tiny parish of Steynton.
The ghost has a "tall shadowy figure" has been seen in the early hours of the morning and in the evening.
Investigator Gavin Davies, who runs the Paranormal Chronicles website, said the road was the most haunted in Wales.
He said: "The road has been a hive of strange encounters.
"The road has witnessed some terrible and tragic accidents over the years. Local drivers are witnessing chilling and disturbing hauntings replayed in the darkness.
"It is certainly a very spooky story and has really captured the imagination in the county of Pembrokeshire. It's a paranormal epidemic."
